This week in digital media, we push our garage band knowledge to the test by removing all the audio off of a movie trailer and replacing ALL THE AUDIO with our own.

WHAT I LEARNED I learned that what we see on the screen and what we hear in our headphone can be wildly different. The paper flying in the intro was someone crumpling up paper, the gigantic wave falling was someone pouring out water from a bucket. It was also crazy how much of a difference a good quality sound can make. Low quality sounds end up just sounding cheap, crunchy, and gross, but just by looking for a different sound you can get so much better results.
