In this photography project, we were to take pictures of action. We had to have 5 frozen pictures, 5 blurred pictures, and 3 attempts at panning shots. Panning shots are where everything but your subject is streaked because both the subject and the camera are moving together.

Panning photography
WHAT I LEARNED Surprisingly, the easiest of the three were frozen photography. I think this was because of the really high shutter speed giving me lightning quick results without having to keep the camera in one spot for too long, whilst blurred photography you had to stay perfectly still for a while. Panning photography was also an experience. Mostly because the first attempt I did was of my brother. As soon as I took the photo it looked pretty decent, but once I uploaded it I realized it was very streaky, and not in the right places. The second time I attempted this was of my friend running. I tried to run at the same speed as her but I realized my shutter speed was too high, so when I went to fix it I didn't stop to do that. I tripped and completely destroyed my elbow. To add insult to injury, the photo didn't even come out right. Tragic.
