WHAT I LEARNED
This was a tough endeavor due to the fact that I added a little animated character to represent myself. I wanted this character to be simple enough to draw over and over again, but still be expressive and silly. I landed on this design after doodling on a sticky note in history class and after a few alterations i started drawing this lil guy into these scenes. For the most part the doodles on screen were made at home, only a couple being done here. The paper background that surrounds each sprite was so that it looked like this was sketched on some kids class notebook, kind of how the intro of the one diary of a wimpy kid did, mashing reality with doodles. Due to the simplicity of this character I was able to be done sketching pretty quickly, although the editing was the hardest part. certain bits where the camera moved with the character was made difficult because of my very limited understanding of key framing, but I got the hang of it ...sorta. |
